Custom 3D Printing in Saskatoon

One part is a perfectly good place to start. We print models, functional prototypes and custom parts in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Bring a file, a sketch or the part you need to replace, and we'll work through what makes sense to print.

Start with the job the part needs to do

A display model and a bracket that lives outside need different things. Tell us what the part connects to, where it will be used and what matters most: appearance, fit, flexibility or resistance to wear. That gives us a starting point for material and design choices.

  • Send an STL, STEP, OBJ or 3MF file if you have one. Photos, PDFs and hand sketches are also useful.
  • Include the intended dimensions, quantity and deadline.
  • Point out mating surfaces, holes and dimensions that matter to the fit.

Choose material around the use

PLA is a useful starting point for models and indoor form-and-fit checks, but it can soften in a hot car. PETG is an option for brackets and outdoor parts; ABS and ASA are options to discuss when heat or sun exposure matters.

Flexible TPU, nylons and fibre-filled materials serve different purposes. A material name alone does not settle whether a part will work. Describe the environment and loads so we can discuss the design as well as the filament. Colours and the particular grade are part of that conversation.

From file to quoted part

We review the design, suggest a material and provide a written quote before making anything. If there isn't a printable model yet, the CAD work is part of the quote. After design and quote approval, the part is printed and checked; feedback can lead to a revised version.

Typical applications include enclosures, housings, brackets, mounts, models, jigs and fixtures. Tell us what the print needs to help you do, rather than choosing a material just because its name sounds strong.

Know where printing fits

Our largest stated single-piece build size is 340 × 320 × 340 mm. A larger design may need sections that join together; that changes the design and should be discussed before quoting.

Printing is not the right answer to every manufacturing problem. Very large runs of identical units or tight-tolerance metal work may call for another process. Required fit, finish and delivery date need review for the particular job, not a blanket promise.
